Hello,

Sony is normally bullet-proof when it comes to IR discretes. But I have a KDL46-S3000 LCD that will not go the PC input via any standard Sony Video 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 command.

I have called RTI and they said I was nuts, I tried this on your showroom TV (KDL32S3000) as well, same model, same response. Different model (KDL32S2010) 1 year old works fine!

Anybody run across this? I did my homework but running a couple of forum searches but i came up empty. Your help is appreciated.

I thought about when we were on site. I used my logic to think it would have been next in line.

Vid 1
Vid 2 (side)
Vid 3
Comp 1
Comp 2
HDMI
PC

So in this case video 7 should taken me to the correct input but it did not. I filled up my RK3 with all of the SOny video commands and fired them off. everyhing went well except that PC input, and I confirmed this at our store.

Hi guys, same problem here.
I tried all 9 pronto codes for TV Input. 7, 8 & 9 DO NOT work.
So like you, i cannot use the codes to switch the Sony HDTV to PC Input!
(tv is KDL-40W2000)
I hope there is a solution..

Go to nearest input before PC directly, then TV/Video once?

Well I am glad I am not the only one, but workaround that jlegge suggested might have to work for now.

I tried to call Sony customer support, waste of my time and theirs.
