I’m just saying..... It would be cool. Animated menus make me hot. I think there was a thread about this a while ago; someone mentioned there was a licensing issue /w flash.

Does either Crestron or AMX support flash?

I agree.... but only because I've learned and (i think) mastered using flash for design, and programming in ActionScript.

For me, the absolute ULTIMATE would be if you could have the .swf (flash file) reside on the K4 (or whatever). There would be some way of passing actions and variables between the flash file (GUI) and the RTI system (control).

Lots of possibilities...

However, Flash is NOT tops on my list of improvements. Those would be:

2 way, 2 way, 2 way, 2 way
An RK1, with 2 way, oir even just the basic 12v Status Test that all the other touch panels do.

If 2 way is delayed, thats fine, then these become the TOP of my list:

1. Variables with multiple states, instead on just On/Off flags.
2. Dynamic buttons with multiple states. If buttons could constantly reflect the state of Variables it would be incredible..... (especially if the variables could be stored and tracked on the processor, but accessed on the touchpanel [2way])

but just imagine how cool it would be if buttons had this in their properties:

Default State: (image, text)
When Pressed: (image, text)
Flag 1 = ON: (image, text)
Flag 2 = ON: (image, text)
etc

And so, buttons would constantly reflect the state of variables/flags.

This imo, is the single greatest thing I could ever ask for (other that 2 way , 2 way , 2 way)

...couple a thumb tacks and a stick of double sided tape should hold this baby up...
