I contacted RTI yesterday and the EM4 isn't available yet.

Has anyone customized a K4 to be a table top controller?

I can't use a T4 because I need the video inputs...

I had a client make a custom box for a K4 once. I thought that it looked unprofessional, but it was not my decision.

We used BNC 90s for the video feed but the input jack locations force you to make a box larger than you may be expecting.

Sell the T4 and wait for the dock.

I have 30 day deadline for this project. I was really surprised that they didn't have it ready yet because it was announced so long ago. I guess they are spending thier resources on the XP8

No, This is standard for RTI. They show the product prototype too early and give a date when it will be released and than you wait about a half year to a year longer for it to actually start shipping.
Love there product, but they speak too soon.

If you have to get video to a T4, and you have a wireless network in place, how about something like this:

If you need more than one video source, a video switcher could feed into it.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
