So, I'm programming a T2C/RP6 system right now to control a Nuvo Essentia system. Doesn't seem to be working. I've been entering the HEX like this:

*Z01ON

(for Zone 1 ON)

Should it be *Z01ON<0D> or *Z01ON0D instead? I'm a little confused about the carriage return and I think that's the problem. I've been using the correct baud/parity. Any help is appreciated.

maybe *Z01on\r \r being the carriage return.

Yeah, that did it. I was actually typing (CR) before, for the carriage return. The Nuvo documentation was a little confusing. Anyway, works great now.

Hey Starecase, I may hit you up for a damage report on that one later. I'm doing a 9-zone Grand Concerto later this year and may be on the scrounge for some clues.

Anything I should watch out for that you know of already?

Thanks in advance,

Robbie.

Actually, no. The system has been working flawlessly, and once I figured out how to enter the command lines with the proper carriage return, it was easy to get programmed into TT. I do think that the GC works on a different baud rate than the Essentia.

Great, thanks. That's all I needed to hear.

Now I can sleep again!
