Maybe I'm missing some thing....

I have an RP-1 working a local TV and SAT box.
I have an RP-6 working an Elan S-12 for the same room.
The TV and Elan are run seperately and not interconnected at all.
I need to be able to hit one button and turn the elan zone off and the tv on (and vice versa).
I set the "Watch TV" button up as "Standalone" and the macro for that button contains "sat on" and "tv on" system macros from my RP-1 and a "Zone Off" system macro from my RP-6. Looks fine...
But... How can I assign an output port of the RP-6 on the "zone off" system macro in my RP-6? I need to assign it to output only to port 5 of my RP-6. Ports 1-5 on the RP-6 are assigned to 5 different zones on the Elan. If I can't dedicate my 10 system macros (1 on and 1 off for 5 different zones) then It'll turn on/off all the zones plugged into the RP-6 or I'll have to have seperate Elan off/TV-sat on buttons.

Like I said... maybe I'm missing something.

Go into the "zone off" macro of the rp6 and double click the command(s) and a box will open that you can select or deselect which ports 1-6 and high out are used for the output.

If you are using the S12, why not do RS232? The protocol is very simple and works great. I have a dual Chassis S12 system running RS232 with no problem with just one RS232 port. This was about the easy system I have ever worked with especially the serial protocol. For the price of the serial cable you can save a bunch of real estate on your RP-6.

Well the RP-6 is also working an extron PIP generator with rs-232 and needs to work like 5 seperate sat boxes for an independent non-elan room. (I didn't design the system, I just need to make it work hehe)
