I am not talking about the CM232, I am talking about the Fuji.

Something to be aware of is that in the service menu (press and hold enter for 5 seconds) you can change the RS232 baud rate.
On my 40 series there is the choice of 4800 or 9600.
Spent all day trying to figure out why it was not working until I thought to check the service menu.
It was set at 9600 and once I changed to 4800 everything worked.

I actually had this same intermittent issue, you explained
it exactly what was happening to me. In the end, I added
a 2nd @G\r to the beginning of the string and its 100%
working now. Bandaid, but that's what I came up with.

This was the right answer, I added second @G\r in the "sys on" macro and worked perfectly every time!

Why? don't know, don't care, it works.

Thanks.
