How do you assign an address to a RP-1 Processor? We are replacing 3 Prontos in a clients house with T2C's and RP-1's. They have Denon receivers in all the systems, so we need to have seperate addresses for them.

I just put them in one file and just make sure each remote is communicating with the RP-6 you want.
When good enough is not good enough.

After you add in all the RP1s... and give them separate names...

Right click on the remote and select properties.
Select Output
Select RF trigger Codes
Select the Name of the RP1 you want to talk too.

Thanks for the info. Also, Can we add a RP-6 so that all the remotes can access? This client has a Homeworks system, and we would like to be able to run it via RS-232.

Any remote can talk to any processor it is told to. You can talk to only 1, all of them or a combo of processors. You just have to tell the remote where to go.
Don't read my answer. Someone else will go into great detail as to why I am wrong rather than answer the original question...

I think his question is - mine too. Lets say I have a file i really like and end up selling the neighbor the identical setup OR have the edentical setup within the same home. How can I re use the exact setup and not conflict with the neighbors WITHOUT buildin the file as 3 RP1 3 T2c's etc.? URC has settings on the base. RTI ???

Click on file and hit system properties and select a different system code

Yep Kevin, that is exactly what I was asking about. I'm used to having that capability with URC. Still learning the quirks of RTI. I still don't understand about my 2nd question. What do I need to do to have access to RP-1 Bedroom for local system, and RP-6 Home for 232 control of Lutron Homeworks as well.

Jus put a button in standalone and when you call up a system macro just direct each funtion to the specific processor. You just need to make sure you have enough RM433's around.

Thanks Roddy. I figgured there was a way to do it. Just a little harder than URC. But at least I know there will not be any RF problems!
