I was programing a K4 for a commercial install and I needed to put some notes in a rather long Macro. I dragged in several notes with no text in them and saved the macro when I went back to the macro to edit it it crashes the software and you cant access that macro again. Would have to find it on a 60 step RS232 macro!!
Just FYI!

I recently had a similar problem that I eventually solved, with no help from RTI tech support. Yeah it was my fault, but the system crashed after completing system macros that numbered about 50,(matrix switching 6x4) and I didn't save until then (DOH)
It turns out that I had put in a "toggle A-B" code routine using 2 different codes in the system area, which is not allowed. I inadvertently left it there, even though it was redded out. I'm glad I figured it out, because I was about to reprogram everything over.
So if you leave a bad, not allowed item in the programming, it will crash your program. At least that is what I concluded.

I know that a couple of years ago and a couple of editor version's back you could not have notes in the macros. If you did it would make the program crash. It sounds like the problem never got fixed.
