We installed a TH-50PH9UK and I see that it has a serial port. I was thinking of using the RS-232 for control of the plasma in this case. Does anyone have the Rs-232 codes availiable?

Besides being new to RTI I am new to RS-232 as well. Is it difficult to implement?

Aside from the TV, if other devices have the ability to do RS-232 would you choose that everytime over IR?

I know RTI has the Master IR library as well as the Master IR List 13 but why isn't there a RS-232 code library as well. Seems like this would be a nifty thing to have to store all of the codes and settings.

in most cases i will always use 232 if available, the one exception is Integra, the IR is so bulletproof that i will use ir to save the cost of the cm232
