When using sustain to fast scroll volume or the DSS guide, the IRF6 is significantly slower than straight IR. Also a predictable jump loop operation is not possible. Repeat doesn't help. Any ideas why this is so?

Will it be better with the RS232 connection?

That does seem odd -- which receiver are you using it with?

I am using a Meridian 565 and Sony DSS. I tried with and without an SPS1 with a Xantech 284 emitter.
