Anyone find discrete power for this, or anything tricky about learning codes? I will be doing my first one of these Thursday. Old Moto codes did not work. Plus, the HD channels on our existing system got bumped from the 700s to the 1000s, so I get to redo a bunch of macros. Thanks, Comcast!

I had to turn off repeats and sustain on the transport controls. I was "double tapping" and going 2-3 FF/REW speeds in one button press. Bat I think that was the only real issues I had. Good luck with the discreet power codes.

I am using the RP1 voltage sensor for discrete on. Have a 12 volt power supply left over from my pronto plugged into the switched outlet. Works great. (Motos in General)

Does the "menu on" and "menu on on" work for this box like it does for the other Moto boxes?

No switched outlet on this one. It uses a power pack supplying LV to the box, kinda like a laptop power supply.
I liked the menu on deal until I tried it with a DVR equipped box - error messages, forget it.
This is a new AT&T box. Slow to respond like Moto DVRs - very irritating with channel macros.
