Wondering if anyone uses GuiFX templates with RTI products?

If so:

When you purchase a template, how editable are they?
DO they give you all of the pieces and allow you to assemble any way you like?
Do they supply BLANK versions of all buttons so you can add your own text?

Any other feedback welcome

When did they stat with RTI templates?? I bought a set a few years back when the package included all resolutions for 349.00, it was actually from guiwerx, which is now selling through guifx. but now each resolution is 499.00
I think its too expensive for RTI, as you will have to convert everything to RTI format

You could find your own backgrounds and buttons to create your own templates

they do not have templates for rti, but they do have generic graphics package that works fine for rti. they come with .bmp and .png the adaptation package is pretty cool. for 299 we went ahead and bought it. similar to curacao but definately has some pretty cool stuff. we do use some of their crestron templates. they are supposed to be working on system builder compatible templates that will be pretty cool for the simple systems to jazz up graphics

GuiFX made the factory Curacao template. I contacted them once to see if they were going to make more RTI graphics and I was told that it was unlikely.

I think this is lame. Why doesnt guifx make templates for RTI? They make them for the pos mx3000, but not for RTI gear? LAME LAME LAME. Did RTI not pay guifx for the curacao template? Are they mad at each other? Doesnt make any sense.

While they don't advertise templates specifically for RTI, they DO have a decent sound effect package and channel icons. They will be coming out with a lot more generic graphic and sound packages in the next few months as they have hired some decent graphic designers last month. They may not say RTI, but who cares? You can probably purchase some generic package of icons, graphics, sounds etc and use them for some configs.

I think they give you not only the finished sets, but also the source .psd's....

you should then be able to resize to your liking.

Both are GuiFX partners and have non RTI templates listed on the GuiFX website.

Maybe so, but I got an email today from GuiFX. In the email it states the following:

RTI Templates

I'm pleased to announce that we've received the proper authorization to begin marketing RTI Templates. As an official RTI Integration Partner, GuiFX has the resources to push the hardware beyond their known limits. Templates are currently in production and are scheduled for release in September.
