This afternoon I was at a clients installing an Escient Fireball SE80i, all works fine with the Standard remote but when I loaded the commands into the T2C (RP6 also) the only commands that work are the cursor/scroll up and down.
Nothing else works! As it was last thing Friday afternoon, I took a shortcut and used an emitter over the IR window, intending to return early next week to wire in via the IR port on the back. I did try varying the output level on the RP6.

When I got home, I've got a Escient Fireball SE160i of my own (one week old) that, once again I've been using the standard remote until I get around to programming my T2C, I figured that now was the time to program it! Thought I would set it up in 'stand alone' mode, and same thing! Scrolls up and down, but nothing else. Tried altering repeats, still no good.
Any ideas?

TIA
Iain

I worked it out! Bit embarrassing, when I captured the codes I tried to learn the buttons for FB1, FB2, etc., I now realize that by the time I had tried to learn in FB4 I was learning the codes for.............you guessed it, not FB1!
Now works fine. DUH!

glad to know I'm not the only who has traveled down this road.
Alcohol and night swimming, it's a winning combination!
