I am ready for a universal remote and not sure which one to get. I have used Pronto RU990, which I find slow. I have a couple of devices to control and want to have 2 way with, especially, ReQuest media servers.

Would appreciate if fellow forumers help enlighten me:

1. How does the RTI T2C compare against the Pronto RU990?
2. Is the visibility of touch screen on the T2C good? (this is really subjective, I am 55 this year).

Thanks in advance.

I sell nothing but the RTI so i am biased but they are great remotes however you should know that currently none of the handheld RTI remotes are two way.

The new Pronto has two way capability with a couple of items, namely Radio Ra lighting and Escient Fireball (sorry, no ReQuest). I've got no experience with it, so can't tell you how it works. The RTI XP8 processor coming out later this year will have some two way capability if you can wait that long. As far as visibility of the T2C touchscreen, I personally think it's great.

Yeah, too bad RTI pushed it out to late fall and end of 07 with two-way.
