Daniel,

The suspense is killing me, tell us all about the T2. Is it worth the money? Can it do all the things the Pronto can and if not what can’t it do?

Let us know what you think!!!!!

You read my mind! I just came to the forum to post a message asking how the review was going. And to say that if it takes an extra week to get an extra-thorough review, that's fine by me (I'm not in an urgent rush to buy a new remote). With all the features this remote has, it's no surprise it's nontrivial to review. I sure am curious to see the unit put through its paces, though.

It's coming, it's coming! In addition to there being a lot to look at, things have been very hectic here for the past few weeks.

I've played with the software for a couple of days and found it functionally elegant, just the right buttons to free up precious LCD space for those functions specific to each piece of equipment. Before I buy, however, the question I'd love to see you answer in your review...and I recognize that this will require you to exercise your psychic ability as well as your technical expertise...is which will be King of the Hill a year from now: the TheaterTouch or the Color Pronto?

Michael: I honestly couldn't say. I've never seen the color Pronto. I don't even know what features it will have, how many hard buttons, what macro capabilities etc. It's a complete unknown. The thing that will probably separate the TheaterTouch from the Pronto is that it's a system -- with the IRF-6 basestation, power modules, IR distributon system etc.
