From any Authorized RTI Dealer. Where are you located? Perhaps one of us is close enough to get them to you...

Aren't the T2s available through wider distribution than the T2+, which is only available through dealers?

If I heard the story right, a big part of the reason for the limitation of T2+ distribution was the amount of whoring out done to the T2, and to be sure that RTI was not inundated with HELP calls from consumers who couldn't figure out how to do the programming...so shouldn't the T2 battery be available more easily?

I would look up RTI on the internet and drop them an email. I'd also look up the batteries on ebay, but I just realized you have no kind of guarantee that a battery for sale on ebay will be any newer than the ones you have, so caveat emptor.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Sorry I didn't get back to you all sooner. My four original batteries are now down to three and they are going downhill fast. I'm in California (to WHDigital) and tried e-mailing one of the dealers; they weren't helpful. Just emailed RTI. I'm thinking of just rigging a four AA cell NIMH battery holder to the gutted original battery case and chargeing them with the proper charger when needed. The voltage would be right but there would be lots more mAh so charging wouldn't be needed often. It would look like s**t but work.

MSRP for those batteries was like $45 a piece I think. If you can't find someone local I will ask at my local if they have a few.

I understand that during the construction of the Gothic Cathedrals during the last period of global warming (a couple hundred years, it was), some artisans did artwork on walls and surfaces that they knew would be closed up or covered. For the eyes of God only.
I can't say your battery case will be for the eyes of God only, but if you can still get the cover on, it will only look bad to you and to God.

If you are a dealer, you can get them from AVAD. If you are not a dealer, you can call AVAD and they can find a dealer near you. I am a dealer and just bought two of the thirty that they had in stock.

I'm just over the hill from you in Pleasant Hill. Drop me an email (in profile) if you still need those batteries!
