There are six zones on the IRF 6. What can I do if I need to control 10 devices that I want to use with teh SPS/VPS/RS232 to the IRF 6. Can I share two or more modules into one zone of the IRF 6 just like 2 IR emitters? Or can one single SPS/VPS support two emitters together? Or should I buy two IRF6s?

Well, if you have 6 zones and 10 devices you'll have to either divide some of those devices into the zones -- and use multiple emitters off of the one zone (2-4 emitters are supported, but not sensors -- I'm pretty sure at least). Or, if you really need to have 10 zones, you'll need a second IRF6.

I have got a reply from Mitch of RTI that I can only use up to 6 sensors per IRF6. So I just wonder can I use more than one emitter per sensor?

Each zone can have one sensor. Which means six sensors. I know the manual specifies up to four emitters per zone (without amplification), but I don't know if putting a sensor on a zone adds a penalty to power consumption, thus reducing the emitter maximum.
