I've downloaded the IR codes from Pioneer but I'm not sure how to apply them. I do have an IR learner and I know that I can get the codes from older units to work but I'm curious as how I apply this info to TTD4.2 IR library?
For Example: Function: HDMI1 ----> IR Command: A55E+A5CA
Any help is appreciated

Do you have a link to the site where you got that code?? You will have to decipher it then use MakeHex to extract the Hex codes, can be done, Im just not sure where to start, still learning some of the hex code generation stuff myself

Would be willing to investigate it further but need a tad bit more info

Hi Glack,
It's on the Pioneer site although it took me about 5 times to get on. I kept getting an error and cannot get back there although I downloaded the files....they're all in PDF format. It's under Pioneer.com/support/custom installer. I don't have the exact link to it but will keep trying. All the RS232 codes and IR codes are there...plus the software to manage the Mdacc through a computer via serial port.

Got it
[Link: pioneerelectronics.com]

You might have to try it a few times but it does work.

Link is not working for me...tried close to 20 times and never came close...Might be due to me not being logged in, Can you send me the PDF file for the IR??

MEGA CODE LIST!!! Any good clean codes should be added.

Yesterday I spent about 20 mins looking through a bunch of incomplete CML files looking for one command. Finally ended up opening up a CCF and cutting and pasting the command into my CML. Ohh and when I got home my replacement IRPRO was on the door step.

See I never let people ride in my car. Its my tool kit and office. Well you know the story... gotta pick up someone at the airport...

ME "Hey, don't help me. I need to know where each thing came from in the car and where we are putting it for the meantime."

Best Friend "Whats this thing???"

ME "That is my EXPENSIVE IR learner... Without it I can be really screwed in the field. Put it back under my seat..."

(Did that sound like, "Put that baby on my roof so when we drive away it can fall off and be smashed!" Anyone here see how that could sound alike???)

Ill get over it someday...
