I just discovered that the Denon RC-1024 is the remote used for the 4306, and it is in the database under Denon receivers, . I used it and it works perfectly.

I have had a number of requests for the Excel chart I whipped up for Denon AVR receivers. For some reason (most likely its size) it keeps becoming corrupted when I attemp to email it. I do not understand at this point why because it does occasionally get through.

If someone has the ability to host it for download, let me know and I will mail a hard copy.

Again, this chart shows all potential codes as well as currently used codes for their receivers so as new functions are added they can easily be dropped in the chart.

I am hoping for a few new functions regarding the zone2/3 net audio control features of the 4306 in future releases. I did my best to bend a few ears at Cedia.

I would zip it and send it over zipped. I had the same(?) thing happen to me emailing .etf sound calibration files. Zipped it up, and it went through uncorrupted.

In Windows XP, right-click the file, select Send To, select Compressed (zipped) Folder

Wow! It is truely the simple things that can elude us (me) the most. I actually never realized that option was there.

I immediately sent out another round of copies to the last batch of requests.

I am happy to send out more copies if needed.

Again... this is an excel workbook documenting the Sharp and Kasiekyo functions for the device codes used with denon receivers (in Pronto hex form). The codes in use are documented along with all of the other possible codes. Please fill in if you discover missing codes. The codes are not broken down by model, however, the bulk of them work for nearly all of the receivers.

Has anyone run across a toggle power code for zone 3 (380X and up)? I have toggle for zones 1 and 2 but not 3

Why not just put the on and off comands in a macro using the toggle IR code a/b command bracket?

I will give it a try.

I had not thought of that.

I usually only have the toggle power command in one location (a power/jump page). I find the customers rarely use this feature especially for the receiver but I have it there anyway. In this case the power state would not be "known" so I am not sure if it would be appropriate (it may require two button presses???).

Thanks

Also, on this subject. I am looking for a way to fade between front and rear for zone2. The reason is I have it connected to 4 speakers in the back yard in 2 different areas of the yard and sometimes want one area louder than the other.
Thanks,
Jim

Please clarify "fade" and be a bit more specific. There are individual channel volume controls for the HT side of the receiver and using 232 you can specify specific volume levels. You may be able to put a macro together to achieve something similar to what you want.

To anyone that requested my excel file.... if you did not get a copy from me please email me a request. I am not sure if i got to everyone that requested it in the thread because I stopped monitoring this thread for a while.
