To All T2 Owner's:

I talked to Mitch at RTI today about their IR code library or lack of and he said that the bulk of the codes they have on the CD-ROM and on the web site are codes that they have learned from remotes that people have sent them for some reason or another and that very few people have uploaded their codes to RTI’s web site.

Mitch said that since in the past they have dealt mainly with custom installers and few end users that they have not received many codes. He also said that they were in the process of talking to installers to see if they would donate codes to the fund. So if we want a better library of codes we have to help by sending our codes to RTI.

FYI: I found out that there is a way to send codes to and receive codes from RTI directly from the IR Library software by clicking one of the little globe icons at the top menu bar.

I just (finally) uploaded my CML and RTI files. The library has the following devices:

Preamplifier: Sony TA-E9000ES, with TA-N9000ES Power Amp
CD Player: Sony CDP-X779ES
DVD Player: Sony DVP-S7700
DSS Receiver 1: Hughes HIRD-4532 Platinum
DSS Receiver 2: Sony SAT-3
DVHS Recorder: Hughes HDR-205
SVHS Recorder: Sony SLV-R1000
Television: Sony KW-34HD1 HDTV
X-10 Power Control

In addition there's a somewhat brief text file explaining some of the design aspects, and an Excel spreadsheet to use as template for planning hard button command layouts.

DJ - did you happen to crack the discrete input select codes for the Sony HDTV? Cycling through those inputs is real pain.

I've posted a bunch of remotes... but have seen none of them added. When I originally added they noted it may take a couple of days to get updated... but I added around a week ago... and still see none...

Has anyone asked RTI what there process here is? Are they confirming codes?... do they uploaded them manually or in batch... and are waiting for something... or do they just not like my comments, I wonder...

We upload the codes manually after we collect a few and look to see if they are complete and “clean” codes.

We updated the IR Library today www.theatercontrols.com and added 22 new remotes. All these codes and more will be on are all new website www.rticorp.com shortly.

Thanks far all the codes, keep them coming.

Philip,

Yes, they are there. I also have discretes for zoom, normal and wide, and I faked full with a macro using normal discrete then the mode toggle. I scrounged them off one of the Pronto CCFs.

I looked at x-10 (theatercontrols.com) and only the 98 version is there. So what happened to the newer one added by DJ above. I am I looking in the wrong place? I'd like to see if DJ added any new commands.
