Doing a house soon that will have around 6 zones for house audio. Planning on using RK3s and possibly a niles multizone setup... any input... or suggestions?

Just remember, if you are using the Niles ZR product, you will still need a niles keypad for each zone. You can leave these at the headend but the ir out from your RTI system will be fed into the local IR port on the niles keypads. Otherwise, it will work very well and if you take advantage of the routing ability of the RP6, you can control any zone from any RK3. Hope this helps!

[Link: sonance.com]Rather than use the Niles product you could use somthing like the sonance DAB1 which will directly inteface with the RK3 controllers, So what is you budget for this project?

Sonance would be my first choice like RTI Installer said, I would use a russound CAV6.6 as it will also work without keypads and each zone is controllable via RS232 on the back of the CAV6.6. I think the CAV6.6 is $2000 retail without keypads.
