This is a question that I'm still wondering about after reading the review: When selecting a component from the Main Menu, does this also switch the input? If so, is there a way that a signal is not sent so that I can access the component without sending a signal to the preamp?

That depends on how you set up your buttons. In my main page I have device button macros that switch to the device's page when clicked normally, but when held down will also turn on and select all appropriate devices and inputs.

Thanks for the reply. This looks like what I want. The problem I have with remotes like the Pronto and Atkis (I returned mine after a week) is that you are forced to look at the touchscreen when you're using it. If my RC2000 didn't crap out on me I'd still be using it... and I'm still considering getting another one. I'm intrigued, though, with the T2's hard buttons and RF capability.
Does anybody know if there's a dealer in the Los Angeles area that carries the T2? I'd like to demo one before I spend so much money.
