Panasonic VSX-D-711 Home Theater Surround sound Receiver. Channel A, left front Speaker doesn't work. The A Channel is also the surround sound default speaker channel. I have to use the B channel to hear out of the left front speaker. In B channel mode, the Surround sound system is inoperable.
What is causing the left front channel to not operate. No sound at all out of left speaker in channel A.

Did you mean Pioneer? Their receivers use the VSX designation. Can't say I have ever seen a Panasonic AVR

We can theorize all day long, but you need to take it in for service. I mean,
*did that channel EVER work?
*have you checked the wiring to be sure that's okay?
*is it under warranty?
*if we explain it to you, will that help you somehow, in a practical way?

When I conclude that a channel isn't working under particular circumstances, I have created an excellent description of the problem for the warranty or non-warranty repair people to use in fixing it. Take it in.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
