"Quick" Speaker comparison in order of price, but all within budget (900$ CDN), there is also a size limitation that all of these speakers meet. Receiver being used is Integra 50.4:

For Kitchen :
2x Paradigm AMS-150R
or
2x Definitive Technology DI 6.5R
or
2x PSB CW80R

For Bathroom:
1x Paradigm AMS-150R-SM
or
1x Definitive Technology DI 6.5STR
or
1x PSB CW88R

Thanks folks.

Was there a question in there, or were you just telling us what you are looking at for your home?

Well, some advise would be greatly appreciated. I tried to narrow it down to three choices for the two rooms and was just wondering if anyone could help me decide which speakers to use for the two rooms.

They all seem like decent products, but it's like asking what is the better truck, For, Chevy, or Ram? You will get 3 different answers from 3 different guys. Back in the day, you would listen to them to hear for yourself which one sounded better to you. However, with soo many people buying things online now, that has killed most of the AV stores.

BTW, what does you AV dealer recommend?

My usual dealer is selling Paradigm and PSB. He recommends Paradigm, but they are more expensive.

The Definitive was from another dealer which is what he recommends (but that is what he sells). I was trying to get a more objective opinion if possible but I suppose that is going to be tough. I was wondering if perhaps there was something obvious in the specs that would set one of the speakers apart?

They are all quality companies whose products are similar.

You have a few qusetions to ask yourself:
1. What will you be using the speakers for?
2. How often will you be using them?
3. What will you be listenig to?
4. How will you be listening to them? (ambience, parties, games, etc.)
5. Budget?

In-ceiling speakers range from $30 to over $900 each, and you do get what you pay for. If you want better sound, then go for the more expensive speakers. If it's just background ambience, then go for the lesses expensive ones.

The speakers will be for music (more than background) . Thanks for the advise, I think I will go for the Paradigm.
