I had the same problem. Solution - On your remote push Mode button .
Press down arrow 4 times
Press right arrow 1 time
Press down arrow 1 time
Press OK

That should do it . If not , respond back .

Hi,
My Koss 3102 system worked well for DVDs for some time, but now it will repeatedly get stuck in spots during play, initially briefly and then for longer times, until it just seems to get completely stuck in one spot and we give up on it.
Any advice on what this is or how to fix it?
Or who services these machines (and is it worth it)? Best Buy doesn't service them.
Thanks,
Proteo

when looking at repairing something like this you have to look at what it would cost to replace it wig something new or pay alot to maybe get it fixed right. These things were designed to be thrown away and replaced when they broke.
"You can't fix stupid."

Yes - that is sort of what I'm thinking. Can one buy just the central unit and use their existing speakers - or do they always come bundled with speakers?
thanks for commenting.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
We have a Koss DVD Player Model #: KS3102 . .
Your instructions worked EXCELLENTLY!
I too think it is a problem with the refresh rate. 50~60 hz incompatibility.
But once it happens - you can't read the screen - very bad! .
You said: To fix this turn on your system and the tv. hit the menu on remote push down 3 times then push to the right then hit arrow down then push ok.
You are most-excellent-Nerd!
Be Happy DONALD!
I and my wife own a koss ks3102 home theater system. I enjoy watching old movies that are ignored by NETFLIX. Be happy, DON.
