I really like the Klipsch line but beware, a lot of people think the sound is a bit harsh due to the horn tweeter. I thought the Klipsch sounded quite natural. I auditioned the quintet system and prefered it to the Energy Take 5.

Iv'e owned the Klipsch Forte' speakers for twelve years and they still sound great very rich and full compared to many other brand I've heard over the years, I've incorporated them with a center and rear Klipsch speakers to work with my sony D500 and sony ES30 receiver. My room is too small to add a subwoofer, it would be overkill!

Yes i agree they sometimes sound a litttle harsh in the treble for me it was as simple as adjusting the bass and treble knobs on my receiver. good luck my klipsch comrade!

Fellow Klipsh owners!
The fella that got his 8.5s probably got them at Sound Advice!! Anyways, well Klipsh just came out with a new line of higher end speakers.. they have a new tratrix horn (similar to 8.5 and 10.5) and a very cool copper colored ceramic aluminum midranges... they don't sound as harsh as the Synergy series (ie 8.5) due to changing the crossover points as well as better crossovers. they are more pricier than the synergy, but they sound pretty awesome. check out the KP-5. floor standing 15" 500w powered sub in the side!! i've auditioned them, and if you luv to literally have a niteclub at your home, these are the speakers for you!!!
Email me for extra info!!

I have a 100W 10" Klipsh "subwoofer". Although high priced it does a very good job.

Ive owned my Klipsh for a little over a year now and wouldnt trade them for anything, at least anything around the same price range. I have the 10.5's with the 12" subwoofer, the S5 surrounds and the synergy center speaker. They do an unbelievable job for a home theater. As for music alone, Im not sure because I rarely listen to music at home, that is what my car is for. So if you want a killer home theater with endless sound, dont hesitate giving Klipsh a try.

Hi Klipsch owner,
i bought a couple years ago two corner Speaker, the traditional one. A half year ago I gave a order to my local Klipsch dealer to build me 3 speaker in a special slim size for the rear and front.
Now I have a Klipsch Rom. You can't believe the sound. Absolute great, ok you need space.

Hi people...a little bit off topic.
My humble opinion, Klipsches are very efficient speakers and superb for budget/mid HT use, but some people doubt their quality for hi-fi music use...
I drive my Klipsch synergy bookshelves (KSB2.1) and a SC-1 center with a Nakamichi AV-7. SO far so good (it's been about 2 months)... however, since my room is so small and crampy...typical college student, I can't get the max./optimum use of an Infinity BU-120 subwoofer.... any suggestion?
I place the sub right on the horizontal axis of my front speakers with only about 9" space to adjacent TV stand and a desk, and 1' to the glass sliding door.
Thanks
