I have three B&W video cameras with mono sound that I want to add to my house video distribution system. I would like to find some modulators as inexpensive as possible. Anyone have any suggestions for best price and web site?

Thanks

Check out ChannelPlus (www.channelplus.com). They make a wide range of modulators, and I'm sure they have one to meet your needs.

Channel + = WAY to expensive for me. They do not need to be of the finest quality. I just want them to add the B&W cameras.

Anyone have a source for a less expensive modulator?

Thanks again

Radio Shack sells a mono modulator for $30.

One of the reason the Radio Shack Modulator is cheap, is that it will NOT combine your signal with others. I have one, and it acts the same way as your VCR does when switched from TV to VCR using cable as the passthru. It is also limited to channel 3 or 4, so if you need 3 you are going to be short one channel.

I'm not knocking the RS modulator. I've used mine many time and it works flawlessly. It just won't work for your use. When I've taken video while on vacation, I can watch it on almost any motel TV by using the RS modulator. The A/V outputs of the video camera are converted to channel 3 or 4 using the standard cable input that every motel TV has.
