Yes, You can use an Infrared X10 Command Console (IR543) & an X-10 Universal Module (UM-506).

Depending on whether or not your current remote control is capable of learning the IR commands for X-10. What type remote do you have? Do you need only one momentary contact closure or multiple?

Xantech www.xantech.com has two differant relay modules, one is a A-B switcher and the other is a double pole, double throw.
