I was watching the home show and saw some speakers in someones home. Well the thing is they werent regular speakers they could actually be painted or wallpapered over. All you had to do is cut out an opening in a stud cavity, hook it up, mount it and repair the drywall to look like a finished normal wall, then paint or wallpaper. I think the name was hidden acoustics or something similar. Does anyone know anything about these as far as who makes them and are they any good? Thanks in advance

They are Stealth Acoustics, we sell them, they sound pretty good, easy to install, good finish work is important if you really want them to dissapear. they have added to their line up, inwall sub, amp, smaller inwalls, mid sized inwall pair $600. If you are in VA and would like to hear them, drop me a line, we have a pair installed in our showroom.

Induction dynamics makes a cute little system that is hidden as well. it installs prior to sheet rock but can be retrofit with drywall repair or from the attic on the ceiling. www.soliddrive.com is the website Glack

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far. |

Sound Advance has made them for a number of years. They sound great for background but are not meant for critical listening or home theater. We've heard quite a few in homes over the years.
SA EQ's them at the shows to improve the sound. Do Stealth and Induction do a better job? It's a great concept.
