I have the Chiro c800 pre-amp which has a dual zone feature. After owning the pre-amp for several years I finally decided to use zone two. Unfortunately, I found out I MUST use the special (it didn't come standard) zone 2 remote control from the manufacturer. The problem is the manufacturer is now out of business.
A friend suggested I try "remotecentral". Sure enough, I found exactly what I was looking for. Now my problem is, I don't know what I've found! I downloaded a "cml" file for the c800 Zone 2, but I don't know what to do with it!
I've tried to search around the site, but haven't had much luck figuring out what I need. I'm assuming I'll need to purchase some sort of "universal" remote control and program it for the Chiro Zone 2 (using the file I downloaded). I'm definitely a novice when it comes to this stuff!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

.cml is what rti remotes use. i'd either buy a t2+ remote or if your looking to use an in wall keypad to control zone 2 the sonance k1 and k2 in wall keypads also use the .cml format
hope that helps.
or you can try to borrow a t1 or t2 remote and use it to teach your existing remote
