I have a Kenwood VR-5090 with a rc-r0811 remote which is not the correct remote for this receiver. I am in need of the rc-r0913 to have the dual zone capabilities. I have already setup the second zone, speakers and volume control. But cannot get it to work. Preout to an amp and out to the speakers from the vr-5090. I also have a MX 3000 where i used the pre-programmed function to see if i would be able to enable my secondary zone. I can do this. MZ enable zone b, but I cannot raise volume or change input in the second zone. Please help ...!!!

Try importing the codes from this .ccf into your mx-3000 and see if they help. These include the discretes for zone b. Keep in mind that multi-zone has to be on, and you have to turn the main system on to turn on the multi-zone.
