Tried playing new Peter Gabriel DVD on my system, works great in Dolby, and Dolby 5.1, however trying to playback with the Audio setting on the DVD to DTS 5.1 results in incredibly low volume throughput.

Didnt have time to test with another DVD, but I am 99% sure this worked fine with my Pearl Harbor DVD

My Denon receiver definitely supports this format, and properly switches to DTS mode.

ANy clues whats happening here?

I think that's a DTS 96/24 disc, which is different from normal DTS.
