Yeah, but you married a bonehead; so what does that say? I would probably say the majority of the people these dudes approach are men, thusly the higher result in men. Also, women are less apt to hop into a public forum and announce how stupid they are.

You just will have to use the joystick....

More amazing than so many of these posts being first posts, is how many people were able to find this site AFTER buying these speakers, but not bother to beforehand!

Has anybody out there been discouraged from buying this crap because of reading this? Please respond!

By the way, two other bits of information:
an earlier thread about this stuff indicates that it is not the nation that is ignorant, as there seems to be a franchise of Theater Logic in Australia, as well,
and
What's with the blue van with one guy? I thought this franchise required WHITE vans! ! !
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Bit of a backhanded compliment if ever I heard one.

Can't believe I missed this thread for so long.

I think men are mostly the target, on the other head most did not say what gender they are, so how would wifeofabonehead be able to tally the votes on guys or gals that got scammed and dumb enough to post about it in public where we can laugh at them.

Not to mention that I am sure most women would run away from a couple of guys that are trying to lead them into a white van to see some speakers.

Wasn't a compliment. Just a marketing statistic. With a tinge of what Anthony said, "most women would run away from a couple of guys..."

You obviously didn't see the tongue firmly in cheek then?

Talking of dubious speakers/sales techniques can anyone shed any light on these. There's been an awful lot cropping up on ebay (uk) lately, with some quite fanciful claims about their true cost; $1,999 suddenly turns into £2000, and then into £2000 each. Then one takes a look at the packaging and prices being asked and one immediately begins to smell a rat.

PS
For info. I feel I ought to mention that Eltax are well know over here for being a very cost effective option; pretty good for the price one pays, which is usually peanuts.

I live in Dallas. Two men in an explorer sold me one for 300 dollars. They showed me the shipping order and that it was paid for. They also showed me a catalog which retailed it for 2500. I got screwed but it was my fault....
