Thanks for the response
What exactly am I missing.
You are missing alot
1) Digital QUALITY audio from sources such as DVD players, satellite receivers/cable boxes (when TV shows and movies are broadcast in Dolby)
2) Discreet channel seperation.
With analog "surround, there is a true seperation of left and right only. The center and mono suround channels are completely processed from the front L and R, the frequency range of the sound is very limited, and the subwoofer output is a mix of everything.
With digital surround, each channel (front left, front right, center, rear left, and rear right) is coded completely independent of one another, providing full range digital sound from all speakers. Even the subwoofer outputs it's own seperate effects.
If you decide to do it, consult with Remote Central again after you buy. We can help make sure you have it connected and set-up for optimum performance. Good Luck
