I recently bought a TA-E9000ES Sony Pre-Amp and have hit a brick wall with regard to remotes . . . Does anyone have a method by which to integrate a universal remote into the setup? I have a IRIQ/Take Control, as well as a Pronto on order. All I really need to control on the pre-amp are power, volume, mute, and input selection . . . Dolby setup, etc. are all pretty set and forget for me.

Well, it *is* possible to teach a universal remote from that equipment - somewhat difficult, but still possible. If you check through the Pronto file area here you'll fine two pre-configured files with complete codes for the TA-E9000ES... I believe the one from Scott has inputs, sound fields plus all volume controls in the System Properties section.
