wires hidden properly are less hassle ,easy to do and more reliable than loads of gizmos and once its done you can upgrade easily.

Well said, I have never been a big fan of wireless speakers in general.

Thanks for all the inputs!

I'm gonna go the wired route.

I'll be replacing the bedroom carpet and while the installer is here, I'll have him cut across a couple doorways so I can lay the wire, and then he can patch the carpet.

Anyway I hope that'll work.
