I just bought one of those Samsung DVD Players that upconvert to 720P and 1080i through the DVI output jack on the DVD Player. Trouble is my projector appears to not recognize the signal due to a lack of HDCP support. Any ideas on how to still use this upconversion feature and input it into the DVI jack on the projector??? Upconversion can only be output on the DVI jack of the DVD Player. Thanks.

I believe either or both of the Momitsu and Bravo DVD players with DVI out will allow the 720/1080 output on component cables. Your best option is to switch to one of these players.
You can check out massive threads dealing with all 3 of these DVI players at AV Science forum.
