hey michael,

if you haven;t gotten pronto edit yet, get it at www.prontoedit.com, and get the latest update and load it into the remote. I then uploaded the updated file as a master template. Then if you don't like it, you can start over. Keep it simple at first. A lot of times i only have one or 2 basic pages for each device for the day to day functions.

Re: components, consider the hk avr7000, one of the best high current av receivers, or the parasound avr1800 and matching amp for a separate package that's awesome & affordable!

Check it out at www.absolutetheater.com.

Thx, Paul.

Hi Michael,

As to the RC5000, check Daniel's faq on the site here. It's very informative. As well as the forum.

As to components, I've gone over to separates and like what I hear. Parasound equipment is quite nice. I have the AVC 2500 pre-amp/tuner/processor and am very happy with it.The AVC 1800 A/V Doc mentioned is it's brand new little brother, so should very capable. And their amps are highly rated.
