Does anyone know if you can convert an optical output into a coax input. Both my DSS and DVD have optical outputs but I only have one optical input on my receiver. Is there a way to convert an optical signal into a coaxial signal or do I need to return my DVD player and get one that has a coax out. Thanks for any help. Also, Daniel this is an incredible site and its great that you keep it up.

The only good way is to buy a DAC converter that can handle multiple opt and coax inputs. I bought a new Amp that had multiple digital ins and outs. Paramount has a fairly low cost DAC. You can often find them at UBID.com. under consumer electronics/audio.

There is also a Midiman CO2 out there that will do what you need.

Go to www.audioauthority.comThey have exactly what you need. We use them all of the time and they work just fine for the job.
