This is for anyone owning a Pioneer PRO-700HD television.
A common problem with the PRO-700 is the visual screen noise that appears to originate from a defective internal line doubler. Other issues are black horizontal streaking from progressively scanned sources, decoder red push, and video ringing.
For myself, I have owned this set for 9 months. I have called Pioneer 7 times with no response. I have called two authorized repair centers. Both told me these problems are normal for this set and would not respond with a service call.
Through forums such as this, it became clear that other owners are having the same problems. In an effort to give Pioneer a chance to respond to these complaints, a letter is being taken to the CES and given to the Pioneer representative. In this letter will be our complaints about the PRO-700 and the difficulties getting service.

Many of us have been loyal Pioneer customers for years. Lets face it, to spend this much money on a television, you have to have a lot of faith in the manufacture. It is inconceivable to us that Pioneer would abandon its most ardent supporters.
