Hi,

I have a Sony TV with a Sony DVP-725S DVD Player, the setup is currently using a Scart and going into the RGB input on the TV, but the DVD player also has S-Video output and the TV accepts this input via the scart, which would produce the best overall quality ??

Thanx

RGB. It separates each individual color componet Red-Green-Blue. S-Video only separates color and brightness. Plus RGB will give you a firmer connection than an S-Video cable.

Yea your more than likely right, but what is the quality and cost difference between the two options? If you got a 20 foot run RGB will cost serious change vs an S cable.

Pop for the RGB. Why go two steps down the foodchain when you have prime cut available on the menu? Your display will love you too.

Yes but when you use RGB it makes the picture a bit soft S-Video seems to be a lot sharper
