Hi i saw an advertisment on ebay for a 100inchtv. You take a regular tv and order some plans to build a projector around for only ten dollars, i was wondering if any body had any expereince with it? I think the url is 100inchtv.com

Geeeeez is the picture really that lousy? They had reviews and feed back that sounded like it was pretty good. I guess just propoganda. Is it even worth a shot because i really dont feel like throwing down a grand for a projector. I mean is the picture even visible?

Yes, the picture is THAT bad. Imagine watching TV through a magnifying glass. I'd be leary of buying a projector on E-Bay. If you purchase a CRT projector with burned-in CRTs you get a worthless piece of junk. Go to AVScience.com, hometheaternet.com, hometheater1.com, boysofthunder.con, etc. The prices are higher but you will be purchasing from reputable dealers and will get up to a 1 year warranty.
