I'm trying to decide wether to get the new DB-930 or the DA-333ES recevier, Please dont suggest any other recevier's for I have thought long and hard and have narrowed my choices down to these two. I can get the DB for 479.00 , and the 333-ES for 549.00, which one do you recommend?

Any comments greatly appreciated.

Tough choice based on the specs.

While the DB has a second zone, the ES has an extra digital in and S -video. In my room the power difference wouldn't be significant.

The prices are great for each. Although the ES has a longer warranty - 5 years instead of 2.

Wow ,I'm sorry man, I'd have to have to hear them to really decide this one.

I'd go with the ES. Can you please tell where you're getting those prices they seem really cheap!

Eric, I find myself trying to make the same decision as you-- think I'm leaning towards the DB930 to save a few bucks, and feeling the other differences are not significant enough to justify spending extra $100+-. Warranty is probably largest dicerning factor in this close of a match, yet I have never had trouble with any of my existing Sony gear so I'm not giving it much weight here. Also, please let us know where you found those prices as the best I have seen is $525 for the DB930 and $599 for the ES. Thanks and good luck.

Without hearing them both it's hard to tell. I'd be leaning towards the ES myself.
