Can anyone please explain how to hookup a video modulator in a home-theater setup?
I want to connect a ChannelPlus 3025 All-in-One modulator to the Yamaha 2095 A/V Receiver of my home-theater system in order to distribute video signals from DVD, VCR and CATV to three TVs in different rooms.
How would I go about this installation?

I hooked up a 3025 in my house. The 3025 has two A/V inputs. My Laser disk player has 2 A/V outputs so one went to the modulator and the other to my receiver. Laser disk is set to ch. 110. Now the VCR had only one output so I got a 1 in 3 out A/V convertor at Radio Shack. Then connected one to the Receiver the other to the Modulator and set it to channel 119. Cable from the street goes to the modulator then from the modulator to each TV.
After you get that working you'll need a IR repeater system to control the DVD and VCR from the rooms.

Your Yamaha has a Zone 2 AV output that you could connect to the 3025. That way your receiver does the switching and the 3025 does the distributing. And you save a bit on interconnects.

Just a thought. Good luck.
