Most learning remotes will work if you use a Bose IR to RF translator (CM1) and a ir repeater in your system and can find the Bose IR codes. Try contacting your local Bose built-invisible dealer. Calling Bose will not help they do not advertise this part, therefore very few at Bose know of it.

thanks for the help. I spoke to one dealer that was not sure if it would work with my system because it is several years old. I have a Lifestyle 25 probably 4-5 years old. He said they do make a new RF-IR converter that works with the newer systems. Do you know anything about this? Thanks

Yes, the CM1 will work with your system. There are dip switches in the unit to change frequencies.
The new systems (LS28 & 35) will already control IR devices.
