I have a Denon 5700 and need advice on how to use the Multiple source feature. I have two S Video Sources that I want to output to different monitors. I have tried several configurations, but none seem to work. thanks

.........try the sima svs-4 w/ automatic signal sensing....and or the JVC jx-s300, 4in,3 out,....
or the JVC jx-s700, 7 in, 4out, w very hi bandwith of 12 mghz , which equates to 960 lines of horiz resolution.....which is almost 1080p
on the new digital HDTV scale, that is of course
if u can find a source that will transmit a signal with 900+lines, either now or in the near future........................good luck

The Sima svs-4 has 4 S-video OR composite INs, and Two OUTs. The inputs can be switched manually or automatically, but the two outputs are always both active. There is also a great audio output equalizing circuit built in, but since my audio goes thru my receiver I haven't tested it. It includes a remote control, and a Pronto or most learning universal remotes can easily learn that remote's commands.

You can also try the Entech Director AV4.1. It has 4 composite and l/r audio ins with one output and 4 s-video inputs which can be output to to two separate monitors. I use mine to autoswitch between my FPTV and my RPTV.
