Are there any other forums or links that you would recommend for the "Home Theater" enthusiast? I love remote central but would like to read more articles and reviews of equipment.

Thanks, Don

www.audioreview.com is an excellent source for user reviews of just about anything available in North America. And there are tons of forums and pages, just to list a few...

A couple more for you:

I personally recommend AVSForum. A horde of knowledgable folk, especially where projectors and HTPC (Home Theater Personal Computers) are concerned.

Larry: I figure I would spend about 65% less time in front of the computer if Windows would stop crashing at key moments... ... Mike

Mike,

Maybe I am just lucky, but have been running Windows 2000 for many, many months and have only had one hang that required rebooting. Windows 98SE would hang every few days (if I was lucky) on the same hardware.

Here's hoping Windows XP is more closely related to Windows 2000 than Windows 98 in THAT area!!!

I have been using XP for a few months now, and all I can say is WOW, M$ seemed to do a great job this time. I would rate XP as one of the best OS's I have used. They spent a lot of time and did not forget the small detail. The first time I loaded it the screen res was actually usable. It detected the video card and the monitor then set all the setting to optimal. It is stable as can be to, have not had one hang or need to reboot for months. I have also found that almost all software will run on it. Even old win 95 apps that would not on 2000.

Well, that is certainly reassuring!!! Is that Windows XP Home or Professional Edition you're using?
