I am considering the Wavecom Sr wireless a/v transmitter/reciever pair.

Does anyone have any experience with this product?
If yes, good / bad? Best place to buy?

If not, is there some other product you've used?

Thanks

I use X-10's Wireless Sound Power Kit
http://www.x-10.com

It's 10 Watts RMS x2 which isn't a ton of power
but most wireless systems will be somewhat limited.

They transmit on 2.4 Ghz with adjustable "channels"

Works very well... See my post titled...

"Not Impressed with my X-10 Wireless Surround"

I was a bit premature in my assumptions!

Thanks Brett,

The wavecom's are a 2.4gig audio and video tx/rc pair.

They send the signal from your main HT amp to your second tv/stereo/vcr.

I'll use them to play my son's dvd's on his tv in the play room from the HT in the family room.

Ken,

X-10 also has a 2.4Ghz Wireless Video Sender...

Might as well check it out and compare it to
the wavecom version and then see which offers
the best features and price.

Ken,

I had the 2.4 Ghz transmitters and receivers but they were very sensitive to the environment they were in and susceptible to interference. If there are any 2.4 transmitters such as wireless Internet or a neighbors' cordless 2.4Ghz phone, you will get interference in the picture and a popping sound in the audio. If you are using the wireless then turn on the microwave, it creates a lot of interference.
I found a product called the Terk leapfrog that sends the A/V through the phone line and it lets you send the IR back to the source. The picture quality is great too.
