ok! ok! which "CROSS-OVER" do I use?

The receiver is internally set at 80. no manual adjustments.. So do I use the subs internal cross-over or do I set the sub to direct and use the receivers internal cross-over.

I'd use the receivers crossover....set the sub's crossover to full range or higher than 80.
