Thanks, Larry. That was exactly the sort of explanation I was hoping for.

Mike, I think Larry could probably answer that question MUCH better than I could attempt. I'm good with the consumer end of these things (ie, how to use the stuff you have outside of the box), but I'm not so good a lot of the electronics that goes on inside.

Thanks for all the help. ive finally decided on leaving the fronts large,center small (crossover 60hz) and rears small (crossover 60hz). Fine tuning the sub has proved the most difficult but after Larry explanation of using the crossover and volume to balance it out i feel ive got it sounding ok.
